Ok, seriously people. I have over a thousand hits on my blog in just a few months (not too shabby--makes my day in a "I need the approval/interest of others kind of way") and yet my comments department is pathetic. Does the stuff I write just not invite comments? Or do I say so much that there's nothing left to say? And the funny thing is that usually when I'm just sure a certain post will invite comments...that is invariably the one with a big fat goose egg of people saying anything about it.
What would you (my readers) like to hear/see on my blog? I love my blog. It started out just for me, but I also love that people read it. And I get (real life) comments and compliments on it, so I hover between thinking it's uninteresting and the hits on it are accidental...and thinking people really do like it and come here on purpose.
More pics? Recipes? Things we do? Thanks in advance!!!!

I think I'm mostly just lazy! I try to scroll through my google reader pretty fast b/c my computer time is so limited (I'm sure you understand that). I do read though!!
I have always struggled with the comment thing. I want to see people moved by my writing enough to leave me a comment. It doesn't usually happen. Not sure what I'm doing wrong either! ;)
Anyway...I love your blog just the way it is. Keep up the good work!

I have just been busy. Every free second I get is spent studying, and it has paid off too. I am going to try to make more time for blogging. We will just have to see how that goes. I love reading your blog when I can find the time.
I am SO FAR behind on reading blogs - I'm still working on the first week in December for most of them. I get most of my updates and make most of my comments on FB :-)
Comments are hard. I have to remind myself constantly that zero comments doesn't mean people don't like what you are writing. Lately I have had a lot of people on Twitter tell me they really loved such and such post, even though they haven't left a comment on the blog. I'm getting much, much better at separating my worth from my comment section.
That said, did you know that about 1% of readers will comment on a blog? If you look at it that way, you are right on track with everyone else! :)
