Some Presidential Ramblings

Well, to say the least I am not pleased by the outcome of the election. I am disappointed in our choice and the gullibility we have as a whole-to think that Barack Hussein Obama can lead our great country in a manner that is consistent with what our forefathers had in mind when they founded this nation. But, we wanted change. So, hold on for the ride. Change is not always good-when you don't know what you're going to get.

I have had a lot of anxiety about this political race from the very beginning-which is funny since I'm not overly political by nature but during my Bible study we read this verse: Daniel 1:22. It reminds us that God sets up kings and deposes them. Aha! So, He has a purpose for whomever is victorious in this race. And no matter who is in power...God is ultimately in CONTROL. And we can rest easy knowing how fleeting this life is. This is such a short time in the scheme of eternity.

Now, I have said my peace. For better or worse Barack Obama is our president-elected by the people. I will pray for him and I will respect him. That does not mean I have to like him or be glad to call him president. But I will do it nonetheless. And I have told my children the same thing.

I disagree strongly. I am biased because I have a friend that knows him personally. I believe in him and think he is an honest, good man. He has inspired the whole country thus far and I think there will only be more good things to come. Check out this video maybe it will change your mind just a little bit....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ASwQGwTDII The woman in the beginning is my step-sil. I am not trying to change your mind just maybe trying to see a different point of view. Dont believe everything you have seen in the media. He is a great man that WILL do great things for this country. Heck he already has!

I will never agree that a liberal, pro-choice (believes that until a baby is fully born s/he doesn't have the right to life), Muslim is right to lead our country. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles-not Islam. The fact is that if I believed the media I would be worshipping him right this minute. They LOVE him.
I'll keep my freedom, my guns, and my God, you can keep the change.
The city he is from (Chicago) has had more murders this year than soldiers have been killed in Iraq. The tax rate in that city is over 10%.
He stumps for planned parenthood (I saw my own Youtube video showing him speaking at a planned parenthood meeting) And we all know Planned Parenthood is all about birth control-not conception control.
I will stop now because I'm not going to change your mind but neither will you change mine.
As I said, I will pray for him as our president and I will pray for our nation...to open it's eyes and turn back to God.
